We still trying to optimize this server so high usage won't bring it down. We learn a lot along this process :)
Be patient, we will try to provide the best service we can provide.
Update: Haha, what a day. I can't believe this. 2 days of crashing and troubleshooting only because 1 perl parameter that I forgot to remove while debugging causing it to linger for a long time, using lots of memory, high process numbers, and eventually the server crash. Oh well, it's worth it. Now this server is optimized to the teeth. |

We find out that our web server is using 2GB memory and bring down it's speed to a crawl. After a few tweak here and there, we are confident we have find the culprit. We also have to limit using our proxy to download zip, exe, and some other type of big file. We will continue to monitor and will provide download support on our proxy when we confident it won't bring down our system anymore. |
