Running a web proxy server using CGIProxy and PHPProxy is a risky business. The script as is does not have any hotlinking prevention. That makes other can just go to your proxied pages without going through your front page. Even worse, they can link picture, download, and anything through your web proxy which make your bandwidth usage up to the roof. |

Whenever a computer receives or transmits information, be it a home computer or a server, it does so through an open port that at some point connects to a router, which will then send the information over the internet. Depending on the type of data being processed, certain specific ports are used. In proxy servers, there are several ports that are most commonly used. These protocols communicate with external devices, such as routers, by means of a protocol. Protocols are used in order to allow equipment to communicate with each other and establish how information is sent over the internet.

While working on my jokes website and thinking about next article for 443proxy.com in between, I receive my very first email from a 443Proxy.com visitor asking about how to setup a web-based proxy server. So here it is.

A proxy server allow other computer to access internet by acting as a buffer between host(internet server) and client(your computer). In a large organization it allows many computer to access Internet with only a single Internet connection thus saving cost and with many advanced feature it also provide security, filtering, and increased connection speed through cache. |
